Jared Ramos

Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, trombonist Jared Ramos brings a unique and energetic style to his performances. Jared is known for his bold and funky playing that is immersed in the musical traditions of New Orleans, which he has studied both in Utah and in Louisiana (University of New Orleans). He complements this passion for contemporary music with over ten years of classical training, providing him with a solid foundation and versatility. Jared performs throughout Utah and across the country. He is incredibly grateful for the opportunities music has afforded him to travel and experience diverse cultures, believing that these experiences have been instrumental in his growth as a musician. His journeys to Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic have not only broadened his horizons but have also deeply influenced his musical perspective and approach to performance. He performs regularly with a variety of bands which are showcased below.
